SCRAPS
Poker with two hands at once. This turn's discards are next turn's hand.
SCRAPS is a two-player card game played in the browser against an AI
opponent. Its creator and his wife invented it themselves, so the
mechanics are original rather than a digital version of an existing
game. It is free, needs no account and no download, and runs entirely
in your browser.
How it plays
- You always have two poker hands running at once: your private
small hand, and your face-up Scraps hand that everybody can see.
- Move cards from your small hand into your Scraps to draw
fresh ones. Cards 2–9 draw one, 10–K draw two, an Ace
draws three. Both piles cap at 7 cards.
- Aces are a weapon: discard one to strip two cards from your
opponent's Scraps. They can counter with an Ace of their own.
- Flushes are never valid. A five-card suited
straight scores as a plain straight, never a straight flush.
- Each round scores two small hands worth 1 point each and the
Scraps hand worth 2. First to 10 points, win by 2. Winning all
three hands in one round is a FULL SCRAP, worth 5.
