SCRAPS
Play poker with both hands. This turn's discards are next turn's hand.
SCRAPS is a two-player card game played in the browser against an AI
opponent. Its creator and his wife invented it themselves, so the
mechanics are original rather than a digital version of an existing
game. It is free, needs no account and no download, and runs entirely
in your browser.
How it plays
- You always have two poker hands running at once: your private
hand, and your face-up Scraps hand that everybody can see.
- Scrap cards from your hand into your Scraps to draw
fresh ones. Cards 2–9 draw one, 10–K draw two, an Ace
draws three. Both piles cap at 7 cards.
- Aces are a weapon: attack with one to discard two cards from
your opponent's Scraps. She can counter with an Ace of her own.
- Each round scores two hands worth 1 point each and the
Scraps hand worth 2. First to 10 points. Winning all
three hands in one round is a CLEAN SWEEP, worth 5.
